Michelle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Redeemer Counseling Services in Manhattan. She is also an adjunct professor for the Marriage and Family Therapy Master's Program at her alma mater - the Alliance Graduate School of Counseling. Michelle enjoys mentoring the next generation of leaders, especially women, and helping them to grow and develop in faith, leadership, and life. As such, she is on the teaching staff for a premiere women's leadership development program called, Empower.
Michelle is passionate about equipping individuals, couples and families outside of the counseling office as well and often gives talks, workshops and seminars on relationships with her husband, Sam.
In her down time, Michelle enjoys hiking, reading, photography, scoping out new brunch spots in Queens or Manhattan and trying out new recipes (which her family may or may not appreciate) and day dreams of one day having coffee with Brene Brown (if you are not familiar with her work - I highly recommend looking her up!). Michelle also enjoys the everyday moments that make life joyful and full, with her husband Sam, who is ordained with the Christian and Missionary Alliance (currently in the writing phase of his D.Min. dissertation - pray for him!!), two adventurous girls - Sophia (12) & Emma Jay (9) and their precocious adopted border collie/pointer mix, Lady Paisely (2).
