Sabbath

Sabbath

I view the Sabbath as a command to take a step outside of ourselves and re-align with our Lord. Part of our intended design was to observe and enjoy God's creations (along with our own) as an ultimate act of worship to Him. To be in awe and wonder through the joy and rest we experience by taking it all in. Only through this practice, can we muster up the energy and inspiration to powerfully impact our own work.

Eden

Eden

Unfortunately for me, when I searched “Eden” on Google Images, I was greatly dissatisfied with the images that other artists had created. I guess it is hard to depict Eden, when none of us have been there before. I know that in Genesis 2, when Scripture describes Eden, it says “The LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground”, but I expected more than just green leaved trees. So, instead of copying other artists, I thought deeper about what Eden was.

“And God saw that it was Good” Part 2: Goodness of Creation

“And God saw that it was Good” Part 2: Goodness of Creation

As Dekae posted, he believes God's primary mode of communication is through words, and typography is another vehicle for expressing and emphasizing those words to make them stick. No way am I suggesting we are more "perfect" now over God due to the addition of type faces, but it truly is amazing to know that God has entrusted us with language. God has gifted us with language, and to be stewards of it, so that we may be able to communicate and emphasize greater aspects of God's truth in this world.

"And God Saw That It Was Good": The Beauty of God's Creation Through Light

Photo has an interesting way of telling stories. It captures an essence of something that is either soon forgotten or left unseen. And we can say that the Christian faith can be seen in the same light: from the subtleties of God’s creation to the beauties found in human interaction.

Order From Chaos

Order From Chaos

I’m very familiar with chaos of the emotional variety. Something small can set you off, and without realizing it, your emotions start careening at breakneck speed in unpredictable directions. When you finally come out of the episode, you sometimes don’t even realize how you ended up at the thought or feeling from where you started.

The Almost Ironic Yet Awesome Thing about the Trinity

The Almost Ironic Yet Awesome Thing about the Trinity

Looking at this piece of art that Dizzy designed made me audibly go "wow". I even asked Dizzy to sell me this artwork. I seriously couldn't stop looking at it; I even examined the picture over and over throughout the entire day. From the multifaceted and multi-layered interpretation of the earth to the harmonious, glorious representation of the Trinity, everything looked just right. This my friend, is a perfect example of how I see the Trinity.
