SK is a graduate of Harvard University, with an A.B. degree in Psychology. He attended the Sloan School of Management at Massachusetts Institute of Technology to acquire a Ph.D. in Organization Studies. While studying at MIT, an opportunity offered by J.P. Morgan prompted him to change course and pursue an analyst career. Today, SK is a highly skilled analyst with 22 years of experience. Since 1998, he has held multiple analyst roles at Brown Brothers Harriman, covering equities, corporate bonds, and municipal bonds. He is currently a senior analyst at the firm, concentrating on municipal practice.
In addition, SK is one of the founding members and the Chairman of the Board of YANA Ministry, a mission organization committed to serving abandoned and impoverished children.
Finally, SK is a freelance writer and public speaker, with one published essay collection (Things You See Only with Your Eyes Closed: A Blind Wall Street Analyst's Stories of Everyday Miracles), a monthly opinion column on Economy Daily, and periodic speaking engagements.
