Annie June was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in New Jersey. During a high school trip with her church, she happened to drive through the heart of Chicago and Annie couldn't shake off the feeling that she had to come back. So quickly after returning home, she searched for universities in the city and was introduced to the University of Chicago. Two years later, she started her journey at The U of C, met Joseph, whom she'd marry seven years later, and received her B.A. in Political Science, due to her parent's desire for her to pursue law. However, during her junior year of college, God provided an opportunity for Annie to pursue a summer internship in advertising. Over the last 14 years, Annie has worked at various advertising agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, McCann Erickson, OgilvyOne and Havas, working with brands like AT&T Wireless, Gillette, the U.S. Army, DuPont, and Charles Schwab to develop brand communication strategies and integrated marketing solutions. Currently, she works at Rauxa, a smaller, independent agency, as VP of Account Services responsible for business development and driving cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions for her clients. Annie and Joseph have two daughters: Emma (6) and Olive (3).
